Solar Rules & Guidelines

 
General

  • We are a Gentlemen's clan. Play nice, behave nice, be nice

  • We are not a democracy

 

Teamspeak

  • Teamspeak 3 is required.

  • Our Teamspeak adress is solar.addicts.nl

  • Every evening between 19:30 and 22:30 CET it is Solar's Finest Hours

  • If you are online in WOT during Solars Finest Hours, you must be online in Teamspeak

  • On Teamspeak the only official language is English. By exception, in platooning for example, other languages are allowed.

 

Compulsory Duty

  • During Solars Finest Hours, invitations for Teambattles, Tankcompagnies and Training are mandatory

  • Attendance at Clanwars are mandatory at all times, except when your personal situation does not allow that

  • Registering for a tournament, means your presence during the whole tournament is required

 

Tanks

  • The possesion of the following tanks is required:

    • KV-1s

    • Hellcat

    • One tier VIII tank

    • One fast tier II (scout)

    • One fast tier I (scout)

  • In Teambattles and Compagnies, if a tier I or II is needed to complement the setup, the player with the lowest EXP in the previous match has to play this

 

In battle

  • The fieldcommander speaks, the team listens and does not speak

  • No arguments or discussion in battle with the Fieldcommander or teammates

  • Follow orders inmediately and accurate. Even if it means you are going to die or if you think the order is inappropriate

  • Your startposition determines where you take position according to the order. Do not go to a spot, if an other player is closer to that location

  • When you are spotted, press F7 (help) and say Spotted! in teamspeak

  • When you have a question about a location or the strategy, say it in teamspeak and at the same time press F5 (affirmative) so we know who is speaking

  • Do not speak in the I form (e.g. shall I push up), instead state your tank and username (e.g. Hellcat Mary, can I push up)

  • In sniping with more tanks or in a fireline, ping the tank you want to shoot (press T), wait untill your teammate(s) shoot, and then fire yourself. Do not take an impossible shot and scare the enemy away

  • If the fieldcommander allows, after battle there is time for discusions, ideas and suggestions

  • To sing songs on Teamspeak is prohibited, except for members of Solar High Command and for Mary
